About Us

My name is Liza and I've been riding my road bike for about 11 years now. Cycling has changed my life and has allowed me to take in the outdoors in a way I never have before. The first year I started I began with short 20km rides on flat roads; by the end of that year I was doing 100kms plus, riding up and down alpine mountains. 

The idea to design a cycling visor came to me when cycling on an extremely hot day up a the Victorian mountain, Falls Creek (yes we cyclists are a bit crazy).

The Australian sun is intense and cycling for hours at a time with nothing protecting or relieving me from the sun, it just wasn't sitting right with me. I had tried cycling caps, I found the peaks too small and with the material covering my head, I was overheating.

This idea was not a business one - it was for my own benefit. I searched online for what I was after and found nothing. I talked and talked about it until one day I thought, I'll just get one made up for myself. I wore this visor (the one you see in my photo above) for about a year and just loved it! This is when the business idea set in. I truly believe others will love my visors the same way I do and it will change their riding experience when it comes to the sun and even rain.

Since I began the business I became a mum of two gorgeous boys, which has changed my life on the bike for the moment. Having kids have just decreases the amount and distances I to do. I am now looking forward to designing a children's line, so watch this space!
